A lovely new batch of MT Brand Washi Tape arrived in the shop this week, and I wanted to share its washi goodness with you!
If you are unfamiliar with it, Washi Tape is Japanese masking tape printed on rice paper. It comes in all sorts of yummy colors and patterns. It's repositionable and reusable, so it's perfect for pretty much any kind of crafting application you can imagine.
I finally had a little time to sit down and play with our new batch of
tape (plus a few old favorites) and thought I'd show you what I made.
I gussied up some plain pencils with wide washi tape, made some stir sticks for drinks, fancied up a mailing envelope, made a little garland, decorated a gift box, created some gift tags, embellished some ice cream spoons, and made some cupcake flags. Even better, not one of these projects took more than 5 minutes to
complete. So fun and simple.
Would you like the chance to play with some new Washi Tape too? Simply leave a comment here telling me what you would do with it! One lucky winner will receive their choice of any one set of our new washi tape duos! Winner will be chosen on Thursday, April 19th at noon(ish) CST.
Best of luck to you!
