This adorable & preppy golf themed party was thrown by Nathan's mama, Lauren. Here is what Lauren had to say about the celebration she completely handmade herself for her little Tiger Woods.
"My son Nathan just turned 3 on August 15th and saying he is obsessed with all things golf is an understatement. It was an obvious choice for a party theme for our little Tiger Woods! I wanted a modern and preppy feel and went with white, lime green and turquoise as the color palette.
Guests got to eat "Club" sandwiches, Peanut "Putter" Sandwiches, Donut Hole-in-ones, fruit "Par" feits, Iced TEE and of course my homemade Happy BIRDIE cupcakes! For entertainment all of Nathan's friends got their own set of golf clubs to use out on the driving range and the mini putter greens I made. I also had a station where they could decorate their own golf visors, and I made my own golf ball pinata that our little guests used a golf club to swing at.
I also made my own bowties and hair clips that the guests could "get preppy" with, or just wear for a photo behind the vintage hanging frame I found on craigslist!
I had a watering hole station with mason jars that were kid sized and adult sized, with flag straws for decoration. I also decorated the tables with wheatgrass that I grew myself and put in little galvanized buckets that I found at ikea.
I made my own tissue poms, food labels, water bottle labels and happy birthday banner. I also bought $1 metal trays from the dollar store and spray painted them with chalkboard paint to use for additional table signs.
The party was a "hole-in-one", and we couldn't have asked for a better day with our friends and family! Nathan is still asking about his golf party and wants to thank all his friends for playing a ROUND with him!"
Great job, Lauren! Looks like you threw your little man the perfect "par"ty!
